How is this a "Dual-carb system"? - We are using two different types of carbohydrates that are absorbed via different transporters in the gut, which allows for higher carbohydrate absorption rates — particularly relevant for endurance fuelling.

• Dextrose – a form of glucose, absorbed via the SGLT1 transporter
• Sucrose – a disaccharide of glucose and fructose, which breaks down into both during digestion (so contributes to both transporters: SGLT1 and GLUT5)
• Fruit Fructose – pure fructose, absorbed via the GLUT5 transporter
