The Weight We Carry – Bradley’s Story
The Why
What first inspired Bradley to take on 800 miles in 20 days?
👉 “I’ve had my own battles with mental health since leaving the military, and I know how heavy that weight can feel. The idea behind this challenge came from wanting to turn that invisible weight into something people can see. Now feels like the right time because I’m in a place where I can push myself to the limit and also speak openly to help others who might still be struggling in silence.”
And why the vest?
👉 “The vest symbolises the unseen weight men carry every day. For me, it’s not just about covering the distance, it’s about making that struggle visible. Every mile with the vest is a reminder that people carry burdens others can’t always see.”
Bradley is running for something far bigger than miles. This is about breaking silence, sparking conversations, and showing strength in speaking up.
