Caiden Thom Takes Second at 2 Valleys

Highland Fuel Nutrition athlete Caiden Thom delivered another seriously impressive performance at the 2 Valleys Trail Race, taking 2nd place against a strong field.

Caiden has already built an impressive racing résumé, with PBs of 15:09 for 5K, 31:05 for 10K, 67:52 for the half marathon and 2:28:09 for the marathon. But 2 Valleys offered something very different from fast road racing.

Technical trails, climbing and a competitive field made it a proper test of strength and endurance — and Caiden was right at the sharp end from the start.

Battling at the Front

Caiden spent much of the race locked in a battle with eventual winner Hugh.

The pair pushed hard through the course, with Caiden never far behind and keeping the pressure on throughout. Against some seriously experienced names on the start line, he eventually crossed the finish line in second place.

Another podium, and another result that shows the range Caiden has as a runner.

From a 15-minute 5K to long days in the hills, that versatility is exactly why we're excited to have him representing Highland Fuel Nutrition.
